Moms On The Move's goal is to offer a variety of services to mothers and families in transition.
Moms on the Move (MOTM) is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2016. Moms on the Move provides financial assistance, charitable donations, and referral services to women and their families in need to help them obtain sufficient food, clothing, housing and educational opportunities in NWI. The goal is to move them toward a brighter future.
OUR MISSION
The mission of Moms On The Move, Inc. is to garner the pleasure of Allah (swt) by providing services according to the Qur'an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Moms On The Move has a mission to provide help and support to Muslim women and children in the Gary, Indiana metropolitan area.
OUR PURPOSE
We understand, that sometimes families suffer challenges. Challenges that include domestic violence, unemployment, and homelessness. Our purpose is to ensure Muslim women (in particular) have sufficient food, clothing, housing and educational opportunities to thrive with referrals for social services for those in need. We also offer fellowship and social activities for Muslim women and their families.
